6 Weeks Old

Six weeks Old and 9 lbs 5 oz. Noah has his Austrian citizenship and will be getting his USA passport soon. He is so cool that he enjoys dual citizenship up to a certain age I think 18 or 21 then he has to decide for himself. Noah is sleeping at night for about 4 hours between feedings and that is very nice for Monika and Me with sleep.

Biking at Pelham Bay Park

This weekend Victoria and I went biking to Pelham Bay Park. There is a tiny beach at the end of the park that is across from the other side of the park that has Orchard Beach, The Horse Stable, Mini Golf , and more Softball fields. We walked along it. I always find it interesting to look at the different things that wash up on the shores. Also on this side of the park is a huge mound that was once a landfill. Its fences off and looms as a mysterious grassy hill. Its an ugly area sought of forgoten and still I see people walking through there, kids bike there, families walk there just curious to see whats on that end of the trails that lead there. I still go there because its quiet. Its calming in a weird way.

Trip to the Doctor

Noah had his 3rd doctor's visit that basically consist of weighing, measuring his length/height, and his crown. Also the doctor asks questions of how our little wurstel is eating, sleeping, and pooping/peeing. So Noah weighs 8.5 lbs or 3.77 kg and is 21 in. or53.34cm long/height.
So Monika and Noah's hard work with breast feeding is a success. Noah is now eating every 3 hours as the doctor suggested we should try because every 2 hours was not giving us enough time in between especially at night to get some sleep.
Noah can now hold his own head pretty much and he is seeing his toys and noticing where sounds are coming from and reacts to our voices or noises.
Noah also recieved his social security card and his birth certificate. So now he is officiallly here. All in just a month, not bad.

Life Lessons
So the other day me and Noah were on the sofa and asked me hey dad whats that thing over there. I said well son, that is power. He who controls the remote controls the world. Just a side note that isnt any normal remote, its a Harmony 676!! Later that evening we watched the Giants display that they can play some good ole football and that their defense might have some fight left in them. LT was there to see Strahan break his career record of sacks. About a year ago when I had only been back in the US for a month, I was looking forward to seeing my first Monday night football in a long time and it was the Giants vs the Cowboys. I got dinner ready, a beer only to be let down they had moved monday night football to Espn. Thank god that NBC has now Sunday Night Football.

A day @ Orchard Beach

What solace brings a walk at the beach. Monika said to me the day before that she wanted to get out and go to the beach because I had run around friday ( Home Depot , Costco, getting Victoria )and she didnt get out. So we eased into our day having breakfast around midday then get to the beach around 2 or 3. The sun is so strong after this time of the day. We've been using a wrap pouch kind of carrier to carry Noah around instead of putting him in the stroller. Its a cool thing and he loves it. It frees up your hands, keeps him tight and snug like he was in mommy's womb, and gets people looking and wondering whats in the sack. I love the beach. Especially off season. I probably go to the beach off season more than I do during the Summer time. It was just a great time.
